Established in 2013.

Innov8 Hair Design was created by owner Katie Tiedeken. Originally from Petaluma, CA, Katie followed her passion for hair and moved to Southern CA in 2005 where she attended beauty school at Golden West College in Huntington Beach; CA. Katie graduated in 2008 receiving her Cosmetology Degree, she decided she wanted more education and landed her first job at an Aveda Salon in Huntington Beach, CA as a salon assistant and stylist, for over a year Katie was trained one on one with Aveda color and cutting educators who strictly supervised her and where extremely critical on Katie’s work. She gained a large amount of knowledge and experience through out the training program. In 2010 Katie decided to move to Long Beach, CA and work for another salon; she still kept up with education and always wanted to learn something new. Katie’s skills became more advanced as the years passed. She continued to follow her dream of having her own salon. Katie’s dream came true on October 1st of 2013!
