We have a wide array of professional references that are relevant to the work you want done. We always provide them in all of our estimate packages. We also only hire professional, journeyman painters who have experience in the wide ray of finishes the painting trade has to offer.
ZPAINTERS is a licensed, bonded, and insured company that is accredited through the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) and is a member of the Better Business Bureau. Our painters benefit from ethical employment and payroll practices so that they (and our clients) are protected by our workers compensation insurance.
HISTORY
Established in 2002.
ZPAINTERS started in 2002 as Zamora Painting; however, our painting tradition began 18 years earlier when my father, Gilbert, at the tenderfoot age of 19, found out that he was having a baby. Mr. Zamora quickly went to work as a general helper for a painting contractor in 1984, which led to a career in painting & custom finishes.
As you likely already figured out, that baby was me, and as soon as I was old enough my summer vacations were spent learning my father’s trade. Many boys have traveled down the same path, receiving a trade from their father.; it’s a sacred, age-old path, and I have a deep love and appreciation for the trade as a result. The trade put food on the table for me growing up, taught me the value of hard work, and provided many wonderful memories of working alongside my father. There’s a deep since of accomplishment to create, earn, and provide with your hands; and I have the privilege to count myself among the craftspeople who have done so for millennia.
MEET THE BUSINESS OWNER: CHRISTOPHER Z.
Growing up and acquiring the painting trade from my father was good for me, and as soon as I was 18 I wanted to start a painting business. That was in 2002, and I learned a lot since then to say the least. Not only did the business survive a recession, but I went back to school, earned a B.A. in history from UCLA, and went back into the family business shortly thereafter.
