History

Established in 1987.

Herb’s Automotive was founded in 1987 by Herb Rushing. Here is a little history about him. Herb traveled from Oklahoma to California when he was just 15 years old in serach of a better life. He came with only his talent and his infectious love for cars. He worked hard and gained employment with General Motors which allowed him to acquire high levels of experience as a “GM Certified Master Technician”.
    After he lost his battle with cancer in 2001, the business was spearheaded by his oldest son Jake. Jake has followed in his father’s footsteps and, with the help of his expert staff, has sucessfully operated the business since 2001.
