We are a family owned and operated general dental practice that has extensive experience with cosmetic dentistry, implants, and sedation. We are also a preferred provider for Invisalign. While we offer all of the latest in dental technology including digital X-rays with 90% less radiation, and more accurate digital impressions (no more gagging on impression goop!), we also wanted to be sure that your comfort remained our focus when choosing every last detail of our office.

Though we use latest sterilization techniques and even have a special sterilization room for all of our tools, our office feels warm and welcoming! From the cozy reception where you can sit and relax with a beverage while you wait, to the massage chair that you get to relax in while receiving treatment, we’ve done all we can to keep you comfortable from the moment you walk in the office right until you step out.

During your treatment or check up our friendly staff can provide you with anything you need to help make your dental appointment more relaxing, such as warm blankets, TV and music.

History

Established in 1972.

We are a family owned practice with your care and comfort in mind for over 40 years.
 
Dr. Robert Emigh (“Dr. Bob”) and his wife, Anne, started Emigh Dental Care in 1972, geared towards family dental care, after one of his dental school patients convinced him to move to Long Beach and open a practice. Dr. Bob graduated from the USC school of dentistry.

Dr. Pat and Dr. Todd also graduated from the USC school of dentistry in 2004 and 2011 respectively, and have practiced here ever since. Dr. Pat’s wife, Amber, and Dr. Bob’s wife, Anne, are both dental hygienists at Emigh Dental.

Over the years Dr. Bob, Dr. Pat, and Dr. Todd have taken extensive continuing education courses in areas such as cosmetic dentistry, implants, oral sedation, sleep apnea, TMJ, orthodontics and many other disciplines. They have been very involved in numerous dental societies.

A lot of our staff has been with us for anywhere from 10-35 years, so everybody is like family! We welcome you to join our family too!
