In 2013 a friend thrust her camera into my hands and told me I was going to shoot her wedding (despite having NO prior experience). Perplexed and a little terrified, I sheepishly agreed under the condition that she couldn’t unfriend me if I failed at the task. I had never held a DSLR and didn’t own any cameras apart from my iPhone 5. With weekly trainings and the help of several patient friends I was able to quickly master the task, and in the meantime, I fell in love with the art. Here we are over 5 years later and photography is my full time job. I love what I do, and meeting all the wonderful clients who stand in front of my lens.
Amanda is a twenty-something California native living in Long Beach with her husband and 2 cats. When she’s not taking photos she’s listening to classic rock, practicing Bikram yoga, or hanging at a local brewery with friends.
